Speakers:
Michael Neary hasbeen involved in the Arizona’s solar industry since the early 1980’s and became founder of Desert Sun Solar, Inc. in 1986. In the mid 1990’s he transitioned his company to a solar consulting firm to create positive public policy towards solar and renewable energy. Mr. Neary is currently the President of Arizona Solar Energies Industries Association (AriSEIA) where he has led the solar industry’s legislative initiatives in Arizona and was instrumental in the passage of the Arizona residential solar tax and commercial tax credits.
Tom Alston is the Manager of Policy and Business Development for American Solar Electric. He is the elected Arizona Lead for the Solar Alliance as well as the Vice President of AriSEIA.
