Get Ready for the Turkey Fitness Hike - Cave Creek Park
Cave Creek Regional Park
Let’s get ready to eat! Here at the park we feel a bit better if we lose those few pounds before we put them back on around the holidays. We will enjoy the amazing views of Cave Creek Regional Park while we keep our legs moving and our hearts pumping on this moderate 3.5 mile hike. Along the way you will get to know some other hikers and receive some great tips on general fitness and hiking gear from Ranger Jim. Remember, always bring plenty of water and wear sturdy shoes or boots. *This hike will be every Thursday in October to help you get into a routine.

Public Workshop Rule 336: Surface Coating Operations
Air Quality
The Maricopa County Air Quality Department (department) will be conducting a Public Workshop regarding proposed Rule 336 (Surface Coating Operations) revisions. The County is proposing to amend the rule and incorporate the EPA recommendations found in the Control Techniques Guidance Documents regarding surface coating issued between 2006-2008.

Draft Rule 336 is available for printing online at the 2009 Rulemaking Meetings Calendar at:
www.maricopa.gov/aq/divisions/planning_analysis/rules/docs/RuleCal2009.pdf.

As part of the “Green Government Program” we will no longer provide paper copies of the event materials. Instead, during workshops, we will be using electronic media to present event materials. The County is proposing to adopt this new rule and incorporate the EPA recommendations found in the Control Techniques Guidance Documents entitled, Miscellaneous Industrial Adhesives, issued in 2008.
