one-mile stroll along the Merkle Trail as he shares some useful facts about our edible desert plants. The well-manicured Merkle Trail offers universal access and the hard-smooth surface of this trail will accommodate wheelchairs and strollers. Please bring water. Meet at Area 6. |

Will they transform themselves into the Dark Prince? On the eve before Halloween we will reveal the truth! Warning!: Some hikers WILL turn in to bats before the night is over! Bat poster to anyone dressed as a Transylvanian Count. Bring water (or a sanguine refreshment), flashlights, but no mirrors! for this 3 mile rugged, slight elevation hike. Follow signs to the Toothaker Trailhead. |
