| Four Day Workshop for Cities and Towns |
| Air Quality |
This four day workshop will be an intense, comprehensive overview of Maricopa County Air Quality Department rules and ordinances pertaining to dust. It will also include discussion on SB 1552 requirements. There will be ample opportunity to discuss issues and concerns of the cities and towns. Air Quality Director Lawrence Odle and varoius divison heads will open the workshop.
October 26th & 27th will be classroom discussion. October 28th will be field work with each participant doing a ride-along with an inspector. October 29th will be a wrap-up and policy interpretation discussion.
This first four day workshop will be limited to 15 participants. Only one representative per city/town is recommended. Please RSVP to Frank Schinzel.

(easy) An innovative, fun, easy 1.5 hr walking experience for health, camaraderie, and the desert’s serenity. This is designed for people who want to begin trekking in the desert at an easy pace. Bring sturdy shoes, plenty of water, and a hat. This activity will be led by park docents Coni Grossman and/or Tammy Teegardin. |
