For the benefit plan year starting July 1, 2012, Maricopa County is offering benefit-eligible employees up to a $720 reduction in medical insurance premiums. Employees must participate yearly in the Biometric Screening and Health Assessment to receive the savings for the new plan year.

Employees who completed the saliva test for nicotine presence last year will not need to complete the test this year to receive the premium reduction. Only new employees or current employees who have not completed the saliva test for nicotine presence will need to complete the test to be eligible for the reduction.
