ASRS Hosts “Know Your Insurance” Meeting for Soon-To-Be Retirees

 

Are you thinking about retiring within the next six months? If you are, and you are considering obtaining health care coverage through the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS), you will want to attend this “Know Your Insurance” meeting. 

 

This meeting will be hosted by ASRS and is only open to Maricopa County employees.

 

You will have the opportunity to learn first-hand about the health care options available to you when you retire. ASRS, United Healthcare, Assurant Dental, and Maricopa County will all be presenting valuable and timely information. The date and time of the meeting are listed below:

Attendance at this special session of “Know Your Insurance” is limited to 50 employees, and employees must register through Pathlore to attend.

The “2013 Retiree Group Insurance Initial Enrollment Guide” is a valuable tool designed to help you make your enrollment decisions. If you plan to attend the meeting on June 4th, it would be helpful to review the guide prior to attending the meeting.

Need An Ergonomic Evaluation?

A new and improved Ergo-Smart request form is now available online!  The new form allows employees to easily submit a request for an evaluation by one of our Ergonomics Specialists.  Once you complete the form you can click and send it via email and it will be assigned to an Ergonomist.  You can also submit your request via interoffice mail if you prefer.  Simply click here or go to the Ergonomics tab where you will find the link to the form. 



IntHealthIntegrative Health Center Offers Full Spectrum of Primary Care Services

The University of Arizona Integrative Health Center located at 3033 N. Central Avenue, Suite 700, in Phoenix, has added a five visit option to its subscription program.

Any adult enrolled in either the Cigna Open Access Plus Plan or Choice Fund Medical Plan is eligible to receive the full spectrum of primary care services. Members can call 602.470.5577  to schedule their appointments.

This new model of primary care was developed by the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, in affiliation with District Medical Group for the delivery of full service adult primary care in an integrative manner. With a strong emphasis on wellness and prevention, the Center will deliver care in a manner that is both consistent with the best medical evidence while fully considering each patient’s needs, goals, beliefs and values.


Wellness Provider Partnership with the YMCA

The YMCA offers preferred membership rates to all County employees. Those who are enrolled in County benefits receive additional discounts. All employees may add their dependents ages 19 up to 26 to their membership plan for an additional $20.00/month.

Take Care Health Center / Walgreens Pharmacy @ Administration Building, 301 W. Jefferson
The Take Care Health Center (480.347.4791) and Walgreens Pharmacy (602.283.9925) conveniently located on the second floor of the Administration Building provides onsite pharmacy, health care, and laboratory services Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The center is closed daily for lunch from 1:00-1:30 pm.
