Any written comment shall state the name and mailing address of the person, shall be signed by the person, his agent, or his attorney and shall clearly set forth reasons why the permit should or should not be issued. Grounds for comment are limited to whether the proposed permit meets the criteria for issuance as prescribed in ARS §49-426, §49-480, or

Maricopa County Air Quality Department (Department) is proposing to issue a renewal for the General Permit for Gasoline Dispensing Operations. The General Permit will be issued for a five-year period beginning on 11/03/2013. Copies of the proposed General Permit may be reviewed between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM during normal business days at 1001 North Central Avenue, Suite 125, Phoenix, AZ. The proposed permit is also available at the "More Info link" below.

In accordance with Section 49-426 and Section 49-480 of the Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.), any person may submit to the Department at 1001 North Central Avenue, Suite 125, Phoenix, AZ 85004, written comments and/or a written request for a public hearing on the proposed General Permit no later than 30 days after the first publication date of this notice. Any written comments shall state the name and mailing address of the person, shall be signed by the person, his agent, or his attorney and shall clearly set forth reasons why the permit should or should not be issued. Grounds for comment are limited to whether the proposed permit meets the criteria for issuance as prescribed in A.R.S. Section 49-426, Section 49-480, or Section 49-481.

The Control Officer will make the General Permit available upon completion of the public notice period. Sources may obtain coverage under this General Permit by filing a complete application for an Authority to Operate and/or Construct a Gasoline Dispensing Operation.
