Periodic Reports - 2008

These periodic emissions inventories were developed to meet requirements set forth in Title I of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990 This link opens a new page to a web site outside of Air Quality. (CAAA). The CAAA require development of a baseline emission inventory and periodic revisions (every 3 years) for areas that fail to meet the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS).

2008 Periodic Emissions Inventory Reports

PM10

This inventory includes emissions of coarse particulate matter <10 µm in diameter (PM10), fine particulate matter <2.5 µm (PM2.5), nitrogen oxides (NOX), sulfur oxides (SOX), and ammonia (NH3). Emissions are calculated for both Maricopa County and the PM10 nonattainment area. Annual totals as well as typical daily emissions are provided for all source categories

Carbon Monoxide

This inventory includes emissions of carbon monoxide (CO) for both Maricopa County and the CO maintenance area. Annual totals as well as typical CO season-day (winter) emissions are provided for all source categories.
