The Maricopa County Air Quality Department provides an update on the status of an agency action resulting from an inspection. You may use the following tool to search for a notice of violation status on this page.
In order to find the notice of violation [NOV] you are searching for; enter name or business, city where the violation occurred, and the NOV number. You will need all three categories to perform an NOV search. There will be three status options which may appear:
- Enforcement pending
- Report in progress
- Resolved

If you are unable to find results after entering the required data and selecting the "Search Status" button, please check your entries for accuracy and spelling then select "Search Status" once again. Upon an error, it will be necessary to contact the Maricopa County Air Quality Department directly. Please note: you will need to enter a valid "Notice Of Violation number" to perform an NOV search.
Suggestions for search criteria:

When entering the NOV number exclude hyphens, commas, periods, spaces.

If result produces error, review your number entry and try again.

The status of your violation is always available upon request by contacting the Maricopa County Air Quality Department.
The Maricopa County Air Quality Department will not provide an update after the regulated individual or entity is notified that no agency action will result from the agency inspection or after the completion of agency action resulting from the agency inspection.
