Maricopa County Department of Public Health - our mission is to protect and promote the health and well-being of Maricopa County residents and visitors. This means providing you and your family with protection from the health threats such as food-borne illnesses, natural and man-made disasters, toxic exposures, and preventable injury. Public Health also works to prevent chronic diseases, such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes by addressing their risk factors: poor nutrition, inadequate physical activity, and tobacco use.

Maricopa Integrated Health System - includes Maricopa Medical Center, the Arizona Burn Center, the Comprehensive Healthcare Center, the McDowell Healthcare Clinic, 10 community-oriented family health centers, and an attendant care program. Maricopa Medical Center ensures that health care is available to all area residents giving paying and non-paying patients access to top quality medical care.

Health Care Services for the Homeless - provides health care services for homeless individuals and families throughout Maricopa County

Childhood Immunizations - 0 years up to 19th birthday. Immunizations have proven to be the most effective way to stop the spread of disease. Here in Maricopa County you or your child is encouraged to receive childhood immunizations from either his/her health care provider or from one of the Maricopa County Department of Public Health childhood immunization clinics.

Adult Immunizations - Immunizations are NOT just for kids! Whether a young adult, middle-aged adult or senior citizen, we ALL need immunizations to keep us healthy. Vaccine-preventable infections kill more Americans annually, than HIV/AIDS, breast cancer or traffic accidents. Approximately 50,000 adults die each year from vaccine-preventable diseases in the U.S.

South Phoenix Healthy Start Program - Our mission is to increase the number of infants that live and remain healthy past one year of age. Our project provides perinatal case management services, health education events and learning opportunities and community referrals to women and their families in the South Phoenix area. Additionally, we work with the Maryvale community in West Phoenix as an outreach project of our program.

South Phoenix Nurse Family Partnership - If you enroll, a specially trained nurse will visit you in your home throughout pregnancy and continue to visit until your baby is 2 years old. Certain requirement s must be met to qualify.


4H Development - 4-H prepares young people to step up to the challenges in their community and the world. 4-H youth get the hands-on real world experience they need to become leaders.

Boys & Girls Club - Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun. It is the place where great futures are started each and every day.

Valley of the Sun YMCA – The Y provides "every opportunity to reach farther" by giving teens an opportunity to reach their full potential through value-based programs, including child care and educational programs, sports and activities, summer day camps, overnight camps, swim programs, teen leadership programs, events, and clubs.
