"Know Your Knots" Park Ranger Program - Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Join the Park Ranger at the Lake Pleasant Visitor Center, to learn a few helpful knots - It's Crazy Fun! These knots can be used for a variety of task. This program is great fun for kids and adults. You can challenge yourself at any level!

Early Evening Ranger-led Acessible Trail Hike to Nursery Tank-McDowell
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
Join the Ranger for a hike at dusk on this short, 1/2 mile trail (one-way)to an overlook with a pond and lots of bird life and endangered desert pupfish. This is a great way to introduce your kids to hiking, or just enjoy a shorter "destination" hike on the universally accessible trail. Meet Ranger Amy at the Nursery Tank Trailhead.

Pleasant Paddlers Program - Sunset and Late Moon Paddle Tour - Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Come explore the north end of the lake on a Thursday, as we tour by the Sunset and late moon. You must have your own paddlecraft and wear your life vest when on the water. Bring water, lights and your adventureous spirit! We will meet near the 4-lane launch ramp, look for the kayaks. Please light up your kayak with a few lights since the moon will be late coming out and there will be a gap between the sunset and moonrise. Remember you must have and wear a life vest when joining us. See you near the 4-lane area.
