Pleasant Paddlers Program - Exploring Humbug Bay Paddle Tour
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
If you have your own paddlecraft (no rentals at launch site), come explore with the Ranger on this eight mile paddle into one of the fun bays of Lake Pleasant. Chances of seeing wildlife is very good here. You must wear your life vest at all times on the water. Come dressed to get wet, we need to stay cool by stopping and getting wet every so often. Bring water and a snack. We will meet near the 4 - lane launch ramp, north park entrance.

Detectives of the Past - White Tank Mtn.
White Tank Mountains Regional Park
How do archaeologists know what they know about the past? Join Ranger Jessica, a former archaeologist, to find out! Learn about the science of archaeology and what it can and can't tell us about the various cultures that have called the White Tank area home. This program, held in the Nature Center classroom, is geared toward older children and adults. This program is part of the "County Parks are getting Wet 'n' Wild this Summer" promotion. After the program, we will give away a family four-pack (4 tickets to the Wet 'n' Wild Water Park - a $160 value!).

Fireworks Show - Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Allow your eyes to gaze and wonder as we watch fireworks light up the night sky in the serene setting of the Sonoran Desert. Watch from shoreline or on a boat. Arrive early to find a good viewing spot. Fireworks are expected to start at 9 pm (pending weather conditions). For park directions, please visit
