Fridays Fitness Hike – Trailhead Staging- McDowell
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
Fridays Fitness Hike – Various locations in Park- ALL Fridays Come to one or all of the Fitness Hiking Series, every Friday. We build up to a longer hike at the end of the month. Please wear sturdy shoes & bring plenty of water. This week's hike starts at the Trailhead Staging Area.

All About Jaguars - "Brown-Bag It" with Ranger B - Usery Park
Usery Mountain Regional Park
Do jaguars live in Arizona? If so, where are they? How dangerous are they? How do they survive? If you would like to know the answers to these questions, or any questions you may have about jaguars, then this one-hour presentation is for you! Bring your sandwich to the “Brown-Bag It” series inside our Nature Center as Ranger B shares some amazing facts about these colorful cats. Location: Nature Center.

Sunset Over Spur Cross
Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
July 27 Friday 6:00 pm Sunset Over Spur Cross (easy) Come with us on a casual stroll along the Metate Trail as the sun sets over the hills of the conservation area. The twilight is a prime time to watch for wildlife and take pictures so bring some binoculars and a camera.

Moonlight Hike to the Clay Mine - Cave Creek Regional Park
Cave Creek Regional Park
Join us on an amazing and mysterious adventure as we enter our Clay Mine at night! This will be an easy 1 mile hike as we have the moon light the way to the mine. Once inside, candles will bring us through the history of this mine and will learn how its contents were used to cure all your ailments. Bring water and a flashlight in case you need it. We will supply the helmets to enter the mine as long as you wear sturdy shoes and bring water. Meet at the Group Campground. NOTE: This program is part of the “County Parks are getting Wet ‘n’ Wild this summer” series and we will be raffling off a family-four pack at the end of the program.

Summer Night Ride Series - Pemberton Trail
McDowell Mountain Regional Park
This summer night mountain bike series will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. All riders must have a helmet, a lighting system designed for mountain biking and battery power for 3 hours. Riders must sign-in and sign-out, two hours are allowed to ride the Pemberton Trail. It is highly recommended that you ride this trail in day light before coming out for a night ride. The sign sheets are available at 6:30 for riders who might need extra time. NO RIDERS WILL BE ALLOWED TO START AFTER 8:00 p.m.

Dive ‘n’ Movies - Every Friday Night
Adobe Dam Regional Park
Every Friday night from June 1 to August 10, catch a great movie while floating under the stars at Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix’s wave pool - Monsoon Bay or simply lounge around on a deck chair. Dive 'n' Movies begin at sundown and are FREE with Park admission. The majority of the Park's slides and attractions continue to operate during Dive 'n' Movies.
