Exploring Pipeline Canyon Hike - Lake Pleasant
Lake Pleasant Regional Park
Take a walk with the ranger on this scenic trail looking at this canyon and its nice views. This short moderate hike is only one mile long. The ranger will answer questions about the desert as we explore this fun canyon. We will be exploring for around two hours. Bring some water and wear good hiking shoes.

Homeschool: Earth Rocks! - San Tan
San Tan Mountain Regional Park
Summer Series: Students create their own “fossil bed” by modeling three-dimensional shapes of animals, plants or insects, then “burying” them beneath layers of tissue paper. Add earth-tone pastels to make them look as if they just came from an excavation site. Open to non-homeschooled students as well. Limit 25 students. Call or email to register. Meet inside Nature Center.
