| Did you know that Estrella Park has some great trails for easy fitness hikes? Join Ranger Amy on a 2-mile easy fitness hike along the gently rolling Horseshoe Trail. This trail is an ideal trail if you are a beginner hiker. We will hike at a comfortable pace to allow us to get some exercise, but also take time to enjoy the desert around us. Make sure to have water and appropriate footwear. Meet at the Horseshoe Trailhead. |

See how fun exercise can be out in the scenic setting of Cave Creek Regional Park. All levels of fitness are welcome. We will set a moderate, steady pace, based on the fitness level of participants. Beginners are welcome. We will hike about a 3.5 miles in a different part of the park each week. Meet at the Nature Center. |

| On this 1.5 mile hike, on an easy trail (with some climbing) you will get to view evidence left by people who lived in our Valley long before any European visited our shores. Rangers will take you to areas not usually accessible to the public. There is some rock climbing involved so wear good shoes. Meet at Area 4 at 10:00 am. No dogs please. |

Are you already a novice but interested in keeping a yearly, state or country bird list? Bird expert, Sandy Hornbaker, will talk about bird habitat, behavior, range, etc. as we go in search of the native birds in this area. Please bring binoculars, water, and closed-toe shoes.
