Join the adventure and increase your skill level as we hike every trail in the park, while gradually increasing difficulty as we go along. This is the seventh hike in the series and will be 7.5-miles round trip. Please wear appropriate hiking attire and bring water and snacks. |

| February 17 Sunday 9:00 am Find the Ranger (easy) This open-house style program features the park ranger hiking along the Metate Trail and stopping to talk with park visitors. The ranger will have some photos of desert animals as well as some old photos of the Spur Cross dude ranch from back in its heyday. The ranger will also be available to answer questions about the park, discuss park history, and help identify desert plants and animals. |

| Come to the White Tank Park Nature Center for a talk about the habits of the mammals that inhabit our desert. This is not a hiking event but you are welcome to hike any one of our many trails after the talk. On display will be pelts, pictures and skulls of some creatures of the desert. This will be held in the Park Nature Center classroom. $2.00 per person or $6.00 per family ($6 can be used for park entry). |
