See how fun exercise can be out in the scenic setting of Cave Creek Regional Park. All levels of fitness are welcome. We will set a moderate, steady pace, based on the fitness level of participants. Beginners are welcome. We will hike about a 3.5 miles in a different part of the park each week. Meet at the Nature Center. |

| This is a 1 mile hike on a flat trail that offers the opportunity to view the flora and fauna of the uplands desert. The hike will discuss plant physiology and adaptability and the symbiotic relationships of desert life forms. It’s all science so young children may not appreciate this hike. Area 4 at 10:00 am. |

Are you already a novice but interested in keeping a yearly, state or country bird list? Bird expert, Sandy Hornbaker, will talk about bird habitat, behavior, range, etc. as we go in search of the native birds in this area. Please bring binoculars, water, and closed-toe shoes.
