Backyard Birding with Rose! - Cave Creek Regional Park
Cave Creek Regional Park
Have you always wondered what bird is making that pretty sound in the morning or which one is building all those nests around your home? Join us and discover these birds and more as we have them come and visit US! Bring your favorite coffee cup and we will supply the coffee as we watch the native birds of Cave Creek Regional Park. Explore the endless possibilities of backyard birding and learn how to attract different birds to your own backyard and what you must provide to your feathered friends. Please bring binoculars, water and coffee mug. Some binoculars and bird books will be on hand for use. Meet at the Nature Center Amphitheater.

Flora of Spur Cross
Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
February 12 Wednesday 9:00 am Flora of Spur Cross(easy) Spur Cross ranges in elevation from 2400' in the Cave Creek drainage to over 3900' at the top of Elephant Mountain and contains a broad diversity of plantlife. Join us on this easy 2 hour hike through the Jewel of the Creek and lower Dragonfly Trail as we take a look at some of the common plants of the conservation area.

Hiking the Superstitions - Usery Park
Usery Mountain Regional Park
The Superstition Wilderness Area has some of the best hiking in the West! Find out where to go and what to see in the “Supes” during this one-hour presentation. Bring your sandwich to the “Brown-Bag It” series inside our Nature Center as Ranger B shares some useful tips about hiking in this legendary wilderness area. Location: Nature Center.

San Tan Shredders Mountain Bike Group - San Tan
San Tan Mountain Regional Park
Join us again for another exciting mountain bike ride among the beautiful San Tan Mountains. Most group rides are comprised of riders from all various skill levels, ages and fitness levels, but we all share the common interest of riding mountain bikes. “No Rider Left Behind” is our policy, because we ride together in groups based upon your riding levels. This is your opportunity to be around others who are passionate about mountain biking as a sport to have fun. We offer help when needed so you can gain new skills and confidence while on the trails. Come out and enjoy the great views of the San Tan Mountain Regional Park and the quiet get away from the everyday noise. This is a great way to get some exercise, have fun and meet some awesome people. Also feel free to join the San Tan Shredders group at www.meetup.com and sign up for other posted rides within the San Tan park. A helmet is required for safety reasons and please bring plenty of water, an extra inner tube and 2 sources of light if this happens to be a night ride. Meet under flagpole.
