Home School Program: Animal CSI: - San Tan
San Tan Mountain Regional Park
Whether at the zoo or the park, we all enjoy watching wildlife. But finding wild critters in the Sonoran desert can sometimes be tricky. We want to know where do they hide when it is hot or cold outside; what do they eat; how do they behave; and how to recognize their presence when we cannot visually find them. Therefore, we sometimes rely on their tracks, scat, bones, and fur to provide clues to their whereabouts. If you would like to investigate the animals of the Sonoran then this program is for you. Animal CSI is a 4-part series (not required to attend all four) that will have you investigating through inquiry and hands-on projects the secret lives of desert animals. Join Ranger Tish for this fun and informative program that is sure to bring out the detective in you. Dress for outdoors, weather permitting. 1.5 hours. Ages 7 and up. Meet inside the Nature Center.
