| Pipeline Canyon Nature Hike - Lake Pleasant |

| Come explore with the Ranger on this four mile hike. We will take about three hours and stop for a snack about halfway, so bring some snacks and water. This hike is moderate with a few hills. There are chances of seeing wildlife along the trail, so bring your binoculars and camera, too. Wear good hiking shoes and hiking sticks help on the rough spots. We will meet at the South Pipeline Canyon Trailhead inside the park. Once inside park, continue straight on North Park Road to the trailhead. |

| Fit dogs are happier, healthier, and display fewer behavioral problems. Tails on Trails will provide the opportunity to meet other dog hikers, learn safe hiking practices and dog trail etiquette. The fun, 1-mile hike along the level Merkle Trail is great for beginner hiker dogs. Please bring a short non-extendable leash, a small cleanup bag, and water for you and your dog. One dog per hiker, please. After completing this hike, you and your dog will be ready for our “Experienced Level” Dog Fitness Hike! Location: Area 6. |

| Kids and Adults Petroglyph Fun - Lake Pleasant |

| Bring the family for some fun making petroglyphs and trying to guess what the other person is trying to tell you. This program is fun and educational toward learning about the native American rock art in the area. Maricopa County is home to a large number of petroglyphs including the Lake Pleasant area. Come create your own petroglyph and see how it compares to a real 1000 year old petroglyph! Program will be at the Visitor Center amphitheater or patio. |
