Fridays Fitness Hike – Various locations in Park- ALL Fridays Come to one or all of the Fitness Hiking Series, every Friday. We build up to a longer hike at the end of the month. Please wear sturdy shoes & bring plenty of water.

Reach Your Goal Fitness Series - San Tan
San Tan Mountain Regional Park
Do you have that goal to get in shape for 2014? Join the Ranger as we help you reach that goal with this bi-weekly fitness hike. We will start out slow and short and increase our distance over the next several months. We will slowly build up to our final hike on April 4th! What better way to get in shape, enjoy the outdoors and meet some great people. Up for the challenge? Make sure you have good hiking shoes and always bring plenty of water. The Ranger will give some tips on clothing and gear at the beginning of the hike. Meet at the Flag Pole.

Friday Fitness Series #2
Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area
January 10 Friday 9:00 am Friday Fitness Series #2 (moderate) Join us for this second of a series of Friday walks in January which will get progressively more difficult each week. This second walk will be on the Tortuga/Spur Cross loop for a total of about 3.3 miles. Wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water.

This difficult, 3-mile round-trip hike gains over 800 feet in elevation and presents some of the most spectacular scenery in the Valley! Please bring water, hats, snacks, and closed-toe shoes. Meet at the Wind Cave Trailhead.

Come out to the Nature Center and relax fireside with the Ranger. Bring your hotdogs, marshmallows, & s’mores! Don’t forget a beverage and be sure to bring the kids! This is your chance to ask questions of the Ranger in a casual atmosphere and just hang out for a while.
