The
mission of the Maricopa County Regional Support Center is to plan,
coordinate and deliver services to school districts and charter
schools to support the implementation of the articulated State Academic
Standards. The RSC helps Local Education Agencies apply scientifically
based research to institute effective instructional practices in
all K-12 content areas, beginning with Math and Science. In support
of the Arizona Reads-Reading First Program and No Child Left Behind
legislation, the RSC plans, designs and delivers staff development
opportunities to increase teacher quality in Maricopa County schools.
