The Volunteer Service Group (VSG)

VSG members are dedicated to helping their community in the event of an emergency. Volunteers learn about the Maricopa County Emergency Response plan, and how they can use their skills and talents to make a difference in their neighborhoods.

Who should join the VSG?
  • Active and retired healthcare professionals (including physicians, nurses, and pharmacists)
  • Individuals with specialized skills (including licensed radio operators and translators)
  • Versatile support staff (including greeters and administrative assistants)
