Strategic National Stockpile
In the event of a large-scale public health emergency, medications and vaccines may be distributed to residents throughout Maricopa County. All medication and vaccines will be free and will be provided by the Federal Government.

One source of supplies, equipment, and medication is the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Strategic National Stockpile.

The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) is a national repository of pharmaceuticals, antidotes, and medical supplies designed to protect the public in the event of a public health emergency.

Visit the CDC website for more information about the Strategic National Stockpile.
