Sobre el Planning Council
The Phoenix EMA Ryan White Title I HIV Health Services Planning Council is a federally mandated community group appointed by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors to plan the organization and delivery of Ryan White CARE Act Title I funded HIV services.
Title I funds go to Eligible Metropolitan Areas (EMAs) that have been hit hardest by the HIV epidemic. Title I funds are used to meet the emergency service needs of people living with HIV disease that are not met by any other health care programs.
The Planning Council does not directly fund or contract with any agency to provide client services. Contracts with service providers are established and maintained by the Maricopa County Department of Public Health, Division of HIV Services, (602) 506-6858.

Funding is provided by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, the Ryan White CARE Act Amendments of 2000 and the Maricopa County Department of Public Health.
