Family Bookbag: The family bookbag program recognizes that when families eat together, read together, and play together they will make better healthy lifestyle choices.  This program helps families put all of these pieces together to make these choices, habits!
PreK - 8th grade

Glo Germ Handwashing: Participating schools will receive a handwashing germ glo-kit and curriculum to help teach proper handwashing in their school classrooms.  Not a participating school? Contact us and let's learn what we could do, together!
PreK - 8th grade
My Pyramid
MyPyramid, Everything Fits: This lesson introduces students to the USDA’s new healthful eating guide, MyPyramid. Students will learn how rainbow colored bands inside the pyramid represent the different food groups we all need for good health. (45 minutes)
3rd grade
Fruits and Veggies More Matters
Fruits and Veggies More Matters: This is a 3 lesson series or can be condensed into a 1 day class. Fruits and Veggies More Matters teaches students the importance of eating fruits and vegetables daily to prevent disease later in life. Students have the opportunity to sample a fruit and vegetable snack. (60 minutes each)
4th grade
Activity Pyramid
Get Moving: This 60 minute lesson provides students with an opportunity to get up and get moving. Indoor physical activities are done in the classroom to stress the importance of physical activity. (60 minutes)
5th grade
3-a-day Building Better Bones
Building Better Bones: This is a 3 lesson series. Building Better Bones teaches students how the combination of physical activity and the daily inclusion of high calcium, low-fat foods promote the proper bone growth we all need to prevent osteoporosis later on in life. (60 minutes each)
6th grade
Drink Choices
Think Your Drink: This interactive class compares popular drinks students consume with healthier choices. Students will learn how many popular drinks are lacking the vitamins and minerals necessary for proper growth and development. Students will have an opportunity to participate in a taste test of an easy to make fruit smoothie. (60 minutes)
7th grade
Healthy Ways for a Healthy Weight
Healthy Ways for a Healthy Weight: Let's talk Bodies!  In this class, we discuss different body types and shapes and celebrate that we all come in different shapes and sizes.  Students will learn how to use MyPyramid as a tool for healthful living. (60 minutes)
8th grade
Fast Food Drive Thru
Life in the Fast Food Lane: Fast food is a way of life, especially for teenagers. In our Life in the Fast Food Lane program, we teach teenagers how they can eat nutritious, low fat foods when enjoying fast food restaurants. (60 minutes)
