Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program

The Maricopa County Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program works in conjunction with the City of Phoenix to provide information regarding lead poisoning and how to protect our children and families from the dangers associated with environmental lead hazards.

In addition to community education at health fairs and community meetings, this program provides home visitation to children under six years of age whose families are enrolled in the City of Phoenix Lead Hazard Control Program. This includes:

  • A child/family assessment
  • Blood lead level testing
  • Prevention and health education
  • Referrals to community resources as needed
If you have any questions regarding this program, please call (602) 506-4056.
