SNACK Health Educators and Dietitians work with your center to help make your kids healthier! Take the mystery out of food and get kids to move more by using the Color Me Healthy Curriculum in your child care center. This program focuses on a child’s senses and their imagination. No extra equipment is needed—it’s all in the Color Me Healthy red box!

Color Me Healthy

"Before we started teaching the 'Color Me Healthy' curriculum, we had a hard time getting our kids to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables. The Color Me Healthy activities really encourage you to talk with kids about the foods they are eating. Before, our kids would never eat things like celery, but now, they love it because we talk about how crunchy it is!"
- Child Care Director

SNACK "Soil to Fork" Program

As part of "Soil to Fork," the SNACK team can help your center develop a sustainable garden, teaching families about growing and eating healthy fruits and vegetables. SNACK will provide ongoing technical assistance around community gardening planning and development for agencies who want to expand or develop a community based garden. SNACK will provide the bare essential (soil, seeds) and continual technical assistance for centers to expand their gardening activities and/or develop larger garden beds.
