Services
Trained Breastfeeding Peer Counselors help WIC participants:
- To guide and educate on how to breastfeed
- To answer questions
- To offer support
- To provide support groups
Participants may also be eligible to receive the following free of cost:
- Hospital-Grade pumps for Loan
- Personal-Use pumps to keep
- Privacy Scarves
- Nursing Pads
- Milk Storage and Cooler Bags
Support Groups:
WIC participants can join their local Breastfeeding Peer Counselor and other breastfeeding moms every week for support with breastfeeding and to:
- Share their breastfeeding experiences!
- Help other breastfeeding moms!
- Hear what other breastfeeding moms are doing!
- Get help with breastfeeding!
