Planning & Zoning Commission

The Planning & Zoning (P&Z) Commission is a citizen review commission consisting of 10 members appointed by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. The Planning & Zoning Commission is responsible for the approval of Preliminary Plats and recommendation to the Board of Supervisors regarding;

• Zone changes

• Special Use Permits

• Final Plats

• Area Land Use Plan

• Development Master Plans

• Plans of Development

• Comprehensive Plan Amendments

• Text Amendments

• Other matters relating to the Zoning Ordinance
