Wireless Communication Facility
The Wireless Communication Facility process addresses requests to erect and operate cell towers and related facilities per
the Maricopa County Zoning Ordinance,
Chapter 12, Section 1201.2.5. only. Other requests for wireless communication facilities may require a Special Use Permit
or minor amendment. There is no fee for an administrative approval of a wireless communication facility; however, should a
Special Use Permit or a minor amendment be required, fees would be assessed accordingly. A pre-application meeting is highly
recommended prior to submittal of an application.
