CAVE CREEK (7/25) - Come out and meet Scar the desert tortoise. WHITE TANK (7/25) - Enjoy a unique view of the valley at sun rise from an ancient Hohokam and Yavapai meeting site. ESTRELLA (7/26) - It’s National Cowboy Day so the Ranger will show how to catch, halter, groom, bridle and saddle a horse.

McDOWELL (7/26) - Join the ranger in the Visitor’s Center for a presentation on venomous creatures native to this area. CAVE CREEK (7/26) - It is recreation and parks month! Let's get up early and see why it is so important to preserve these amazing parks. SAN TAN (7/26) - Join us for a special blacklight hike as we search for one of the true giants of the desert... the Giant Desert Hairy Scorpion.

(Waddell) – Effective immediately, White Tank Mountain Regional Park has closed the Waterfall Trail and trailhead. The closure is expected to last approximately two weeks while the Trails Crew applies a compact granite base to the first half-mile of the barrier-free trail. ....More Details

(Peoria) Lake Pleasant Regional Park will host the DCB Zoot Sprint Triathlon Friday, June 6 through Saturday, June 7. The event will close the four-lane boat ramp on Friday, June 6 at 5 p.m.; however, it will reopen to the public at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
