Water

Maricopa County is not exempt from the American southwest’s importance for responsible water management. According to the United States Green Building Council, buildings use 12% of all potable water with most going to landscaping. With more than 13,000 employees and 177 buildings, Maricopa County is leveraging its assets and activities to make great strides in water usage reduction.
