Stop waiting for your check to arrive in the mail – Maricopa County can deposit your payment for you! How? Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT).
It’s about convenience, safety, and faster payment. Maricopa County deposits your payment directly to your company’s checking or savings account. In addition to the payment, Maricopa County will send addendum information which includes the Payment Voucher Number; Payment Voucher Amount; Payment Voucher Date; Invoice Number(s) and descriptive information. Take advantage of the benefits:
- Enrollment is free. The program costs you nothing.
- Faster payment. Once payment is made, typical turnaround for electronic transfer to your account is two bank business days, eliminating time spent waiting for the mail and to manually deposit your check at the bank.
- Reduce multi-handling risks. Payment is made directly from our bank to yours, reducing the probability of human intervention error.
- Prevent lost or delayed checks. Payments are made electronically, without the possibility of getting lost in the mail.
