Health Code.
General design requirements applicable to all pools, spas and bathing lakes are detailed in the
Maricopa County Environmental Health Code (MCEHC) Chapter VI, Section 3, "General Design
Standards and Specifications", MCEHC Chapter VI, Section 4,
"Water Circulation, Disinfection and Chemical Conditioning" and
MCEHC Chapter VI, Section 5, "Bathhouse and Dressing Room Facilities".
Design requirements applicable only to public swimming pools are detailed in the
MCEHC Chapter VI, Section 6, "Public Swimming Pools". Design requirements applicable only to semi-public
