This site uses Autodesk's Mapguide technology.   This requires a free viewer plug-in that needs to be installed on your PC in order to view the parcel maps.   You will be pleasantly rewarded by taking the small amount of time, needed to get and install the MapGuide Viewer plug-in.   You only need to do this the first time that you are visiting this site.   The next time you visit this site, you can go directly to viewing the maps and visit any other sites that are using this same technology without repeating this process.
If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or above, THE VIEWER SHOULD AUTOMATICALLY LOAD for you, however, if you have any problems, the viewer plug-in can be installed by following these instructions:
  1. Download the Mapguide Viewer plug-in to either a file on the hard drive or install it directly from the web site.
  2. If you are installing the viewer plug-in from the web site, you will need to reply "Yes" to the Autodesk authorization dialog.   During the install, you will not see any progress indication.
  3. If you downloaded the viewer plug-in to a file on your hard drive, you will now need to install the viewer plug-in.   To install, click on "Start, then "Run".   Next, click on the "Browse" button and navigate to the location of the file you just downloaded.   Select the file, click "Open" and then "OK".   Reply "Yes" to the Autodesk authorization dialog.
  4. Close all web browser windows that are open and restart the browser.
The Assessor's office parcel map application is NOT supported by either America Online (AOL) or Netscape Navigator, you need to use Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or above. Microsoft Internet Explorer
