Children with unique challenges are children and young adults, age birth to 26 who have an ongoing condition and/or disability.

Conditions / Disabilities

The condition or disability may include one of the following along with others.

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Diabetes
  • Fragile X Syndrome
  • Life Threatening Allergy
  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Paraplegia
  • Vision or Hearing Impairment


Children and young adults with unique challenges need or use care that most children don't.

Care may include:

  • Frequent Hospitalization
  • Nutrition
  • Other Services Related to the Condition
