Class Registration & Fees

To register for dust control training, first decide which kind of class you need. (If you have not already done so, refer to Do You Need Dust Control Training? or call the training line at 602-372-1467 to find out which kind of class you need.)

Then, follow the steps given below in the order given.

Step One: Select Class & Date


The online Rule 310 basic class is available at any time. For in-person classes, consult the Rule 310 Class Schedule or the Rule 316 Class Schedule, depending on which class you need.

Step Two: Register for Dust Control Classes


Email aqdustcompliancetraining@mail.maricopa.gov or call our training line at 602-372-1467 (email is preferred). Requests must be made at least one week prior to the desired class, to allow sufficient time for enrollment and billing.

Step Three: Pay the Dust Control Class Fees


  • Basic Class Fee: $50
  • Comprehensive Class Fee: $125
  • Payments may be made at least one day prior to class at any of the permit intake locations.
  • Payments may be made on the morning of the class (in cash, by credit card, or by company check) at class check-in in the 1st floor lobby at 1001 North Central Avenue.

Step Four: Be Sure That You Know the Class Location & Times


For in-person classes, we recommend that you print the dust control class times and locations page and bring it with you on class day.
