Internships and Volunteer Opportunities
Public Health offers exciting internship and volunteer opportunities throughout the year through various programs. These positions will complement education with experience to best prepare candidates for the professional public health world.
An intern is a student from a college or university requesting an internship for academic credit to fulfill a requirement from their school. A volunteer needs to be at least 18 years of age and desires personal experience without acquiring credit from a college or university.
Both interns and volunteers use the same application to begin the process (except the Dietetic and Community Health Worker internship programs, see links below). Once submitted and verified by the intern/volunteer coordinator, the application is shared with the programs the applicant checked off as areas of interest.
